Why Choose OAR On War Eagle?
War Eagle Creek is a class 1 tributary to the White River and is full of stunning rock outcroppings and an abundance of wildlife! War Eagle is a calm stream making it a great option for all skill levels. Stunning rock bluffs line the river and the limestone riverbed gives the water a beautiful turquoise color, creating breathtaking floats. War Eagle is surrounded by private property and with OAR being one of the only outfitters on the river, you don't have to deal with the crowds that overrun some of the other streams. The lack of crowds is perfect for nature watching, deer, turtles, otters, and more can be seen wandering the banks while hawks, eagles and other birds can be seen flying around.
War Eagle Creek is an important resource to the Northwest Arkansas area, the stream flows into Beaver Lake which is the primary source of drinking water for most of NWA. We take pride in the natural beauty of War Eagle and ask that all of our guests to help us keep War Eagle beautiful. |
